I have a Munsters I Game that I want to change the max bet from 45 to 96. What all do I need to do so? I used a keychip 00022 but when I powerd the game back up, under the set up menu to change the max bet, it still said that I needed a keychip tp make any changes. Am I using the correct keychip? Is there a certain procedure to do a keychip, I have only done this with a S2000 before.

Thanks,

David

I am not in front of the machine right now, but I can check later, how can I determine the software type on that game?

two ways. pull the board and look at the numbers on the chips. or the other way is to go into the accounting option and look for version accounting. when you first touch the icon it comes up blank. it takes awhile to compile the information. you want the Gxxxxxxx number. that is basically the operating system like the sg chips in an s2k. The Ixxxxxx number would be good as well. It's like the sb chip. the cxxxxxx and pxl are the character generator chips. the Gxxxxxx is what we need for a psr

David,

Give a KEY00017 a try, I am pretty sure that Munsters is one of the old games that only works properly with a KEY17. Also you said 96 Max Bet, but did you mean 90??

Well, it has play 96 credits on the decal on the glass, but it may indeed be 90. Another question, when I put the keychip in will I get the 2 amber lights like I do on a S2000, then power down?

Will I need to do a clear first, or can I just zero out the credits and keychip it?
