I had the game running fine but I wanted to change the denomanation from 1 to 5 cents. I have set chip 06.02.13. I ran it and set everything that I wanted but when I boot the game up it give me errors on the bottom of the screen. Flt  EEPROM crc mismatch, flt game machine options, flt jurisdiction machine options. When I go into the audit screen it says static ram cannot be cleared. EEPROM error run set chip program. Can anyone help?

What version System Chips are you using, with the set chips you will find that you can select versions other than 06.02.13 you can also check that you have the correct setup of Lines and Credits

Artic Wins is also a Cash Man theme game, so when you bring the SetChip Menu up on screen, you need to make sure that the game Type is Cash Man (25)

i have 2 different system chip versions 01.02.08   and 01.04.10   when the game was running I had the version 01.04.10 on the board. when I run the set chip it gives my the option to  save 06.00.00 or 06.01.28 or 06.02.13 . I set the jurisdiction to Nevada and I left everything else as it was.

hi jth718, the Set Chips you have will not work with the 01.04.10 System Chips, to configure the 01.04.xx you will need to have access to 06.03.xx Set Version in the Set Chip

Which means you have to go back to the 01.02.08 System Chips, unless you have access to a newer Set Chip

Use Set Version 06.01.28 and set the game type as Cashman (25)

do you know where I can get other set chip versions?  also I have a mk6 game called desert gold do you know what the setup for that game would be?

do you know what the game variation should be set to? it is currently set to 1 when I run the set chip. it seems after I run my set chip  and I put the system chips back on the board then I boot the game up and I get an error message that static ram cannot be cleared game cannot be played  eeprom error run set chip program.

Cannot Clear is due to incorrect selection and settings

If you are using 01.02.xx System Chips when using the Set Chip your Target version should be selected as 06.01.xx

Prior to selecting the target version, your first screen will be the Main Set Chip Screen where your press Take Win & Bet 5 to clear Ram, prior to this you must select the game type, this must be selected as Cashman Game (25)

After clearing you can then select your Target Version, Jurisdiction etc, game variation can only be "1"

If you are still having issues, take a screen shot of the Set Chip menu which shows the Target Version, Jurisdiction, Bet Line etc

Desert Gold is a Multi Line Game, System Chips should be a minimum 01.03.xx and the Target version of Set Chip should be 06.0.xx

It is either a 9 or 20 Line game
Credits for 9L is either 5, 10 or 20
Credits for 20L is 5, 10, 25, 50
Variation can be 99 (lowest) 1, 2 or 3

I ran the set chip again set it to cashman 25   setchip version to 06.01.28 and I put the system version  01.02.08   . when I boot the machine up the screen comes on and the reels are black when I  turn the audit menu on it gives me the same error can not erase static ram  run set program.

Hi jth718, can you run the Set Chip again, after you have confirmed the settings can you take a screen shot so that I can see what you have as settings

Can you also confirm the version number of the game, Arctic Wins is either 0451065 or 0251065

I finally figured out the problem, it was the jurisdiction and the validation #  it need to be set to Michigan tribal and 99 I had it set to Nevada and 1. I got a newer version of the set chip so I can use the 01.04.10 system chips with that game
