I know nothing about Game Makers but I have a chance to pick one up (that works) for $500. I have no idea on the software version. Would $500 be worth it for just about any working Game Maker?

I would say yes, thats not too bad if it works perfectly. I see you are in Phoenix and don't know if the market is different, as I know machines are plentiful there.

No problem, but put it this way, we wouldn't sell one for $500! That's a pretty good price.
