Hey gang, been a while since I've posted but I've been lurking when time allows. This real life stuff has to stop lol. Anyway I went to fire up my ol PE+ recently after a long period of just not having time to play and of course the battery is shot. Replacement is pretty straight forward but I thought I remembered reading about some other ways you guys went about changing it to make future changes easier. Any info as far as that goes would be greatly appreciated, thanks as always guys! Smiley

I use a    Eagle Plastic Battery Holder.      Mouser electronics  P.N.=12BH1/2AA-2P-GR     PC Mount  solder legs     .77 cents each

remove battery from board,  solder the holder in place, put new battery in.   next time the battery goes out  no soldering.

the  battery I use for that holder is =Mouser electronics # 667-TL2150S   Tadiran, 1/2 AA   3.6v @.95Ah     pressure contact    5.58 each

hope this helps

Great info Jim, thanks so much. Part numbers and all! I remember hearing of work arounds so you don't have to solder every time and I think this will work fine. Thanks so much again bud! Smiley
