I have worked on Mills mostly and have had 2 Seeburg/Williams machines so I have a little knowledge but need to check this out before I go nuts trying to fix a problem in the wrong areas. I just got this machine and my machine has an issue paying correctly with the combination on the strips. Wheel 1 seems to be ok along with #3, but #2 seems to not be right. Stamped on the inside part of the wheels are markings with a B. 3LE 1 on the first wheel, B. 3LE 1 on the second and B. 3LE 3 on the third. My question is asking about wheel #2. Is this wheel marking to be B 3LE 2 instead of 1? I am thinking so but without previous Bally slot experience I want to ask someone who would knows for sure. The payouts seem to be the right amount of coins are right if the right combination was showing but it seems to be off 2 spaces, at least for some of  :137-the cherries.
If this is the issue and I need to replace wheel #2 .... anyone know where to get it?

Thanks for your time

One way to check is with a sharpie.  Put  mark on the reel board where your highest pay indexes at. Should be the deepest cut.  Then go through each symbol and make appropriate marks.  In theory, each symbol should have its own set of index points.  Unless of course this is a criss-cross 5 liner....let's not go there.
You might want to check and see if the cuts on reel 1 and reel 2 are the same.   They shouldn't be, unless the strips are the same.
It is possible the strip has moved on reel #2, so be sure the deepest cut matches your highest pay symbol.
Are there more cherries on reel 2 than on reel 1?

831  should be a 3 line game     809 =1 line  .  873= 5 line

It is a 831 3 line slot. The index plate is marked both #1 for 1st and second wheel. The cuts are the same but the strip for # 2 is not in conjunction with the slots in the disk. I strongly feel that that is where the problem is. Does any one know where I can get the #2 disk for this machine?
