Hi all,
I just picked up a Top Dollar top for an S2000. Never saw inside one of these so have a few questions. The box has the led panel, and also the secondary circuit board on it with some harnesses. Does the box need any other boards other than the normal S2000 stuff in the top box? Also does it require anything special in the bottom other than the software? Not familiar with the Barcrest at all, other than the S+ version. Is there a wiring diagram to be had anywhere? I will need to find the top glass, belly, reel glass, strips and software also. I know it will be a challenge but at least I found the box propeller. I'll post a WTB in the classified, but if any one who reads this has a lead that would be great.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Barry

Hey Barry... I actually bid against you on that .... sorry... I just wanted it for a few parts.  That top will work for a Top Dollar or a Double Top Dollar.  I actually have a spare set of original Double Top Dollar strips ( some fading; but alot better than I have seen on machines).   It's really going  to be a challenge for you to put the machine together.... just the top glass alone.  You will need the button display for the top box ("take offer" or "try again") which includes the video netplex display ( rare to find and expensive).   Given the choice; I'd definitely opt for the Double Top Dollar though.     I have one and can take pics If it will help you.   God luck, Bill

Bill,
Sorry about that  hide4
You know me , I'm a glutton for punishment. I knew it would be tough, but that other Barcrest project I'm working on won't bring near the enjoyment for the wife as this will if I can complete it. Is the Double more fun? Would parts for that be more available? Pics would be nice, wife says she has never played the Double version. Am I gonna need any other electronics other than what I got with the box? It's good to know I can go either way with it, in case I find some stuff. If you want to unload those spare strips, PM me.
Thanks Bill,
Barry

Bill also just happens to have a topper for sale for you if you decide to build it.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321020071049&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123  I just wanted to give my recommendation for a great guy to deal with, if you are thinking of going that route.   Steve    Cool Thumbs-Up
