« on: November 11, 2012, 02:11:09 PM »

I have several 6000's with progressive. I have had no issues setting them up til this one. In the Cham menu under addr, I do not have the "Proto-con2" option. in the disp, I only have the "SA" option, no sa1 pr sa2, just  SA, 1,2,3,4,5........ and of course I'm getting a 91NC error. any ideas??

Thanks Lindsay

If we are speaking about the ChamII +
then no option for above SA I would check software ver U19 on the Cham board
if its older like v1.41 you won't get those selections.

Off the top of my head I can't remember what ver
it changed those options you are looking for
but I RUN V2.11

91 nc error can be fixed via the bally 11d menu
02 setting choose 4 or 5 depending if your using the 485 cable with it.
I don't and choose #5 .

Sorry headed out the door to work outside today
to much chit to get done while the weather is warm.

Have a look in the progressive section here
you will find the answers.

Version V2.05 will give you the Proto-con2 selection you are looking for.
What game theme are you setting up here ? that you need this.
Are you just setting up a chamII + to the machine ?
As far as I know or the version chips I've seen are
1.41,1.54,1.61,2.05,2.11

I use v2.11 and yes they are available

The 91nc error depends if you are using the 485
If you are then you must select #4 under option 2 in the bally 6000 menu 11d
If not you will get 91nc

Tell us a little more on what you are trying to do here.

The game is a Blazing 7's 3R 1L w/progressive.
It is a stand alone.
I've tried 4 & 5 and both give a 91 NC.
I've done a bunch of these with no problem, That's why I'm very confused.
Any ideas where I might get a newer chip Ver.

try swapping your main board.  Sometimes a bad board won't allow progressive communication.

You should be setting it to SA also.

P.S.
Jim at Blueridge should have the chips.
