I found a Game Maker, It was used as a tournament machine at a casino and had the coin handling/bill acceptor removed.

What parts are needed to add coin handling? I'm supposed to pick this machine up soon, But would like to try and get an idea as to what I need to get coin handling working.

So far, I know I'll need:

-Coin Head
-Coin Comparator Bracket
-Coin Comparator (CC16)
-Hopper

I believe I might also need Comparator Optics & the harness for connecting the Comparator. Will Bally 5500 or 6000 coin parts work for the Game Maker? OR do Game Makers require special coin handling parts?

I know I could install a bill acceptor and just a hopper and be done with it, But I want good old-fashioned Coin Handling.

Any info on this? I could also use a pic of the inside of a Game Maker door if someone could post one.

Thanks!!

I have never owned a Game Maker nor claim I know anything about them. But I'm 99% sure all Game Makers do not use a CC 16 Coin Comparator

Hey all,

Mine is a CC16D.

I think it depends on the model, 7000 or 7200. Mine has a cod board and is model 7200.

Would be easier for you to post pics, as there are a few models and configurations, with cash-box extraction, and button deck config. the main difference.

Hi,

This is an upright, I believe it's a 7000. I looked at the machine a couple weeks ago and recall the cash box would have opened on the upper right side of the cabinet (bill acceptor bevel removed, formally next to monitor on right side...I believe..).

Could you post a few pics of the inside door on your machine? I would really appreciate it Smiley I'm curious as to where the CC optics harness plugs into and if the optics/harness will work from a 5500  CaptainHappy Worried

Thanks!!

Mike

if it's a v7000, you need a cc62 comparitor, (no cod board on the v7000) dbv 145 or 200 bill validator, 24 volt hopper -(regular or cement mixer type will work)  here's a file pic of an open v7000
