Need to identify the Molex Connector

I have a 1978 Bally Silverball Mania.
I need a new connector that fits into this molex connector.
This is the plug at the coin door.
It is 6 x 4, but other than that, how can I find what part will fit?

I looked at my 1980 Bally Space Invaders which should be the same.  No numbers on it but here are your options as I see them.  A quick search of google turned this one up.  http://avionicsmall.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8515  That would give you both sides (if just 1 side didnt fit) and you would have a completely new plug.  So I think that I would suggest cutting the wires and making a new molex plug yourself.  Buy each side of the new plug, and you should be good to go for another 30 years.  You also could find a donor Bally machine and get the plugs or just splice the wires together direct.  Good luck!

I was thinking of doing both sides if I don't find a matching one. I do not want to splice the wires together, as I think it is better to use connectors to disconnect for tracing, as well as if I need to remove the coin door for repair.
(I wish all the cables for the displays had a disconnect, instead of just 1!)

I found some on molex.com that might fit, I just need to measure to see
what might fit.

Those look like Molex .062's from here...But you really need at least the outside measurements of the housing to be sure.
Once you have the measurements then you can look up the drawing sheet webpage on mouser for your housing for the 24 pin Molex and check the sizes on there against yours.
If there are not being attached through any walls, then the ones without the "ears" would be cheaper to get at mouser.com...>>>

If you're gonna be pulling out a lotta pins and playing with harnesses, you might wanna get a good metal extractor...not cheap... about $15 bucks
but well worth it in the long run!...>>>

Sometimes you can find extractors in a kit with various sizes on ebay or something...STAY AWAY from the plastic junks!

I like the plunger ones better but are a touch more...make sure you get the right size for your pins!...>>>
