Hey guys, Im about to place an order for a few chips. My machine uses a S-Plus REEL Chip. Id like the features listed below, but Im not sure I can change all available s2000 settings unless I also change the REEL chip and stepper base.

Can anyone take a look at my specs and give me the various scenarios I am facing if I keep the S Plus Reel and stepper base in vs changing them out.

And second, the best chips to get for whatever scenario is presented?

I know I have the right chip for multi demon if I choose it, but from what I read there are certain things I wont be able to change if I keep it as is, and try to use a key chip.

The functions Im looking to do (If possible)
Multi Denom
Change percentage
Change machine payment type (Right now its set at 25c, If i decide to turn multi denom off Id like it to be a dollar machine)
Anything else thats cool and possible with this type of machine lol

Here are my chip info's

Version Chip:

VS011GX1
8/20/04 (1-1001)

S-Plus REEL
MECH SS7790
3/18/97 (1-64)

Stepper GME1
SG000312
4/18/05 (2-080)

STEPPER GME2
SAME AS ABOVE

STEPPER BASE
SB001000
05/13/98 (1-4002)

Id be extremely grateful for anything anyone can tell me about my machine, and the chips that I "may" want or need.

With what you already have the only thing you can't do is change the pay %.  The pay % is in the SS chip, Tell us the game theme and maybe can find a better paying SS chip for you.

Here is what I came up with, see how close I am.

Your machine is a 5 l;ine 5 coin 5 X PAY.  Your SS7790 is a 88 percent chip.  It is possible to come up with a SS7906 and it's a 95% chip.

The only real S 2000 base chip I could find was a SB100342 This is a 5 X Pay 3 reel 5 Line 75 credit

Im about to buy the clear and key chip from another member, and just wanted to confirm which chips I needed.

The machine is a 5 Time Pay 25c

Here is a pic of the machine and the pay table.

Five Times Pay 5 line game, they did not make a s2000 version of that game that will match your S-plus glass. Your SS7790 chip is a sucky 87%, You can change it to 7905 92% or 7906 95% which will be much better. I have both if needed. You can not do multi denom with a SS chip and Generic Sb1000.  was typin the same times as you two... Silly Me!

Oh, so the entire machine glass and game itself is a S Plus in a s2000 cabinet?

The glass is S-plus, they did that a lot. S2000 was designed to use older s-plus stuff too as yours is doing. Some themes got their own s2000 chips some did not..and others got redesigned

Gotcha. Im cool with it being s plus its a fun game with 5 line pay. Im not really into the single line pay.

1. Basically the percentage is entirely controlled by a chip. And not changeable unless I use a different pay percentage chip for the same game?

2. Can I get a final list of things I could possibly do to it? I dont want to get too mixed up, as Im not that familiar with slots in general yet.

3. If I wanted a true s2000 Id have to change glass and find a new game to match the glass right?

4. Lastly, so multi denom is out of the question. So is percentage and multi denom the only things not available to me if I leave it as is?

I know this came stock from indiana binions, as it had the gaming commision tape all over the chips(what a pain that was to remove) so they must have done this in the casino. If its good for them, I guess its good for me.

Im just glad I found out before I ordered the chips and couldnt figure out why I cant change percentage.

Tim  I know I've read this but their wrong. I have multi denom in a Double Jackpot Haywire using SB001000, SG000312, VS011GX1, and SS4270  ( DSV00042 ). Deno setting is .05, .25. .50, & $1.00

TTG  The highest percentage you can set a S2000 base chip is about 98% If you change your SS chip to a SS7906 you will have 95%  That's not such a big difference.  BUT if you go multi denom all the denoms will be whats in that SS chip 95% . ( I always set them the same anyways.)

@Buzz, that would be awesome if I got that lucky for multi denom. I like the idea of changing it up.

Im going to get a quote for all of those pay percentage chips, the clear chip and the key chip. Shipping to Chicago IL.

It might be until Fri that I put in the order. I just put in an order with red7 for a coin simulator, that plus the machine purchase drained my wallet until Fri.  knockout

Tim  Go ahead and sell him what he needs. I can't tell in his dark picture if he has the blank plate next to his max bet button. I do see one next to the spin button. Anyway he will need a button for multi denom. I hope it's not a Vision ready and the multi denom wires are tied up next to the max bet button.

TTG  Take a look up around the Max Bet button and see if there are 4 wires tie wrapped to the other wires. You should find a Yellow, Black, Blue, and Red. Sometimes they are hard to see.

@BUZZ

Yeah  Hail  Looks like I have them. The blue wire is missing the connector, but that looks like an easy fix. Heres the pic

The plates you were speaking of are also there(two locations)

While we are on the topic of extra wire, I found the two stragglers (Hard to see in pic) Between the Bet One Credit and Spin buttons. Anyone know what these might go to?

Here is a pic of those two wires:

Sweet. I wont be heartbroken if for some reason it just isnt doable on my machine, but it will be a nice bonus if it works out. Thanks for the info guys.

Just in case I miss your question when it comes up.  Yellow and Black wires go to the micro switch. Blue and Red go to the light bulb.

In most cases the new button uses smaller spade connectors and the ones on the machine will need to be removed and replaced with smaller ones.

Just for future reference for those that want to try multi denom.

I have the 4 section led lights behind the denom sticker, and 6-6-3 display on the right side of the reels, which means that for my setup, a simple button wont work. I need a touchpad the rests behind the denom sticker in order to get the multi-denom working.

The multi-denom button will only work if you have the 5-5-2 display, as it doesnt look for the touchpad.

So in hindsight, for my particular setup, I either need to make a touch pad or simply order the touch pad and cable, and multi-denom "should" work.

Like I said before, I considered this a bonus so no big deal, and I prob wont pursue multi-demon for this machine.
