Door is not shut tight....or machine doesn't think it is anyway...

Optics may be bad if existing set is aligned properly and door is shut. For info on how to align optics, just search the S+ forum here.

Yah...I think I might have been screwed up....COIN optics are most likely the culprit...not so much the door optics. Sorry for the mislead.

have you resolved your "21" problem ??  i have much the same problem..I had the door open to check something and when i closed it i got the "21" code AND all 3  reels are turning very slowly and making a low bumping noise.  i've tried a number of things but nothing seems to help.. when i had the door open i did touch one of the reels trying to see the reel strip number..could a reel alignment be the problem ??  looking for any suugestions to resolve my problem..

Reels spinning slowly indicate a "tilt", which could have easily been caused by bumping the reels. Try turning the reset key (small brass key) on the handle side of the cabinet. It should clear.
