Ok, so when I joined this board I had had a old s-series Wild Cherry machine that I didn't know how to swap the battery on and a CDS Reel Deal Draw Poker.  I was thinking of purchasing 3 old S-Plus machines because they appeared to be a good deal, that was back in the summer of 2012, look forward to December of 2012 and today I went to pick up a belly glass and ended up buying a Sizzling 7 Times Pay.  That makes number 12 and I'm not a dealer, have never sold one  Crazy

I was warned that this "hobby" would quickly become much more and would lead to a crowded house and sore back.  I'm hooked and love these things.

Fortunately the wife has been very understanding but I feel she is reaching her breaking point.  Between the machines, the parts, the headache medicine and the back pain meds, this is getting expensive.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me with my "gaggle" of slot machines, can't tell you how much I've learned and how much I have left to learn.

Hi Mike,
I had a one time, over 20 machines. It took a move across country to get me down to 6 machines. Then I bought a CDS reel deal and a GameKing!  Now back up to 8 machines.
So your in good company.

Boy I'm glad I seen this. I thought it was just me that had this disease.

In April of this year I went on Caigslist to buy a slot for my home bound mother because she used to go to the casino down the road 4 miles and can't anymore. Well I found one near buy and I did not know anything about slots.

The girl had it in the garage and it did not work after I put a coin in it. She said she had two more, put a coin in each one of those and no work either. She says "Give $150 for all 3 and maybe you can make 1 or 2 out of 3". Loaded them up, went on line and found this site. Now I'm hooked and have 10 machines. Bally E1000 & E2000

Great site with a great bunch of people and met some NLG folks in person already.

Thanks to all. Much appreciated!

I got the same bug. My first machine was a
Bally E2000 and now I have 3 IGT S+,
5 Ballys (2-E2000,2-V5500 & S5500) and
3 Aristocrats(2-Mk6 & MK4). I've left them in
the dark way too much.

Wow... I'm not alone  Snoopy  I'm Gary and it started for me about 8 yrs ago with a Bally 742 EM. Took me for ever to find a short in it, but after fixing that one I was hook. I now have 8 in my family room, and 2 in my kitchen. They range from 3 old Mills and a Jennings Dutch Boy, Sigma Blackjack machine to my S2000, They then over flow to the back room of the house where there's a Bally Continental and a Bally EM from the MGM, plus four other Bally EM machines waiting there turn for repair. That just covers the inside of my house. In the garage is an assortment waiting for work, or new homes. Out there I have two Game King slant tops, a Forture one, Bally V2000, and 6 Bally E1000/2000 machines. I don't even want to tell yea what out in the storage shed...  Duh!

I'm already looking for my next two, want a round top Triple Double Wild Cherry and a nice round top game king (still trying to sort out the whole software versions on those things so I know what I'm getting).  I need to figure out which is the best board that allows for the greatest upgrades and I know I want a "minty fresh" LCD monitor in it.  So the work continues...

Well you couldn't pass those up! Good games! Sell me the Tabasco kit! I recently bought my first kit from a member here and now I'm looking for IDOJ components and Tabasco! Tabasco is a horrid game to play (IMHO), but I love the music!

The local guy here had a IDOJ round top setting there, I tried to buy it but this other local guy had first right of refusal on it.  So I'm still hoping to get a shot at it.  Why is it a horrid game to play?  I do love that cajun music Smiley

I think I'm gonna have to let two of my babies go to make room for these two, otherwise the count will be at 14.  Got a Triple Red Hot 7s and a Sizzling 7 times pay that need to go.  Prob gonna ask 800 for the pair and see where it goes.  The Sizzling 7TP is in almost like new shape 16 inch slant top, the TRH7s is a round top with a minor crack at the top of the round top and some corrosion on the bottom door but it has a printer, backlit reels and MMlite sound.

I just know I've always done awful on Tabasco (your mileage may vary)...I sit there hitting the Spin button just to listen to the music  bust gut laughing

BTW, when you refer to your 16" machines as slant tops people think they are sit-down slant tops. Just call them 16" cabinets.  yes

You wont have any problem getting rid of them at $400 each? I know they would go fast here at that price, but maybe different in TX.
