Ok It clears put the game chips back in goes through the date and time I keep pushing the test button untill it gets to 11 in the win paid then it switches to 27 0     0003 if you push chage the 0003 goes to 0001  meanwhile the 4th reel continues to spin slowly and it wont allow me to go through and program the machine
What am I doing wrong ??

4th reel?? it has 4 reels or 3 reels and top wheel. If it's a 4 reel the reel board could be bad. If it's a monte carlo type machine you have to plug the little plug in the front of the MPU. you should still be able to go though the 11d menu either way

Its a Bonus Frenzy with the 4th reel and everything worked great untill I put new battery on board so I cant imagine that the reel is bad

Did you try another clear?
After you set the date push the change button, you should get a 50. Then push the test until you get to 11. After that you use deck buttons to setup

That is correct it show 50 then I push test untill I get to 11 then it just shows a 27 0  0003 and deck buttons do nothing accept the change button changes the 0003 to a 0001 and I have gone through the clear process multiple times and get the same result.

This thread is a little confusing  Scratch Head
did you get the 4th reel to stop spinning after the clear ? if not this could be the problem
you say you can get into the 11d menu but spin and bet max do nothing.

I have seen a bad micro switch cause this problem on the bet max button before
but both spin and bet highly doubt it. then again you say they work when you set the date.

I would try the clear again put the game chips back in
let the reels initialize hit the change/service button, shut the door
then open door, test button into 11d see if it lets you into the menu and the buttons work.
