Every time I try something new on a slot, I'm humbly reminded again that I'm just a newbie. Hail

I took my printer from the Vision and moved it to the GK.
Everything works great ... except ... it doesn't quite fit.

The front metal bracket of the ticket printer that rests on the door frame appears to be too big.
This makes is difficult to close the door and puts unneeded pressure on the door hinge.

For clarity, I removed the plastic "remove ticket" face plate and took a picture with the door open and door partially closed to show where the pressure is applied (arrow).

I also took a picture of the blank face plate that I removed and compared it to the metal bracket.  In that picture, you can clearly see the difference.

Before I get a saw and remove the extra large lip of the printer metal bracket, is there an easier way?  How do you ensure you get a bracket that fits your machine?
Or did I install it wrong?

As always, thank you all for your help!

Front plastic face plate lip compared to the metal bracket lip of the printer.

I  looked at my GK and the metal bracket of my ticket printer is the same as yours and my door closes fine. I wonder if your door is to tight on the hinge side but wasn't noticeable because you didn't have a ticket printer in it? Good Luck

Hey Mike,

Thanks for looking and comparing.  I just got another GK today with a printer and was able to compare.  It seems the Vision bracket is slightly different from the GK bracket.  I swapped printers and it closed perfectly.  So, I trimmed and filed the metal lip off and now it closes.  Not what I prefer, but hey, it worked.

Thanks again!
