Again, this site has been great in helping me with my questions but I'm here again needing help or answers. I now have a Game King 6.0 .044 card in a duel row button cabinet with Red glass . I really love it and thaks to you all and i now understand why the candle flashes all the time ( since Then I disconnected it)

My question deals with the Poker and  Black Jack games. The Slot and Keno games are great.

The poker and BJ  games does not give me a "bet one credit" on the touch screen the only real button I have is the use is "max bet"  button. I asked the guy ingot it from and he said that the casinos got rid of the " bet one option " I find that hard to believe. It is a nice game...but I wonder if if I get in the game menu is this an option I have?

Thanks Guys again, Ray

Hi Ray,

I have the older GK 3902 platform, but I did set one up with the two rows of buttons and had to remove the BET ONE button (not enough open slots).  I use it for slot games instead of poker, but if I did put poker in it, I would think that PLAY 1 LINE and BET 1 PER LINE would be the equivalent of betting one at a time.  I guess you tried that already?  If so, you might find an extra switch inside the door where the BET ONE used to be.  I put the CHANGE button there instead next to CASH OUT.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. Inside the door I see that all the lower buttons are being used and the top row of buttons are open. There are two switches that are just laying inside that are not connected to any push buttons. I tried them in the open change button slot and they do light up but when pushed they only cause a quick slight distortion on the video screen.

Thanks, again

Ah, cool, so it was inside. yes

The BET ONE switch is the one with the YELLOW-PURPLE striped wire attached to the cherry switch (along with of course the pair of RED-BLACK striped wires).

For me, I had to get a magnifying glass and flashlight to really see the difference in striped wire colors, so good luck with that. Sherlock Smiley

The BET ONE will have no effect on any slot game, only poker games (and presumably, Blackjack).  This might be why you saw no effect.

Sorry it took me awhile to check this out. Well the one of the two that I thought was the one you described turned out to be a cash out button. It worked just fine to print a ticket but it is not nessacery since all games have a cash out button on the screen. The best I can tell the other button has the following wires, a blue and white one, a red and black one, a yellow one, and the green ground. I did see it looks as if the green one was once attached to the cabinet inside the door but has been snipped off. Any ideas? If not I'm sure I can live with it.  Smiley Thanks again.

Agree ... don't live with it ... it's your machine and this is a good challenge.   yes propeller

I looked at mine and it appears that the other button you found is the CHANGE button.

Basically, there are 2 sets of connections to make a button work: 2 to the cherry switch and 2 for the bulb within the button.
That's why a button can light up, but not necessarily work if the cherry switch gets disconnected or jarred loose.

The GREEN ground is no longer needed and can actually be removed (that's why it's not even grounded to the machine anymore).

The WHITE with BLUE stripe goes to the bulb of the CHANGE button as do the red wires.

The YELLOW should be striped as well and should go to the cherry switch.  YELLOW-PURPLE is the one you're after.
The RED and BLACK striped are the common on the cherry switch.

So, if the CHANGE and CASHOUT are inside your machine, but don't lead to a button on your deck, then what buttons are on the deck?  Maybe your BET ONE is already on the deck and you just need to check the connections?

Might try to reduce the size of your picture. Can only post two at a time.

I will post some pics, I tried and the site did not allow me....

As Ron said, you likely need to resize them for the site to accept them. Here's an alternate method which won't require you to resize the pictures yourself:

1. Visit TinyPic.com

2. Click the "choose file" button to the right of the File: field, and locate the picture on your computer you wish to upload.

3. Click the big green "upload now!" button.

4. Type the words in the captcha to verify you're a human.

5. On the resulting page, click on the code labeled, "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" to copy it to your clipboard.  It will look something like this:

Code:

[IMG]http://i56.tinypic.com/2h7zyf5.jpg[/IMG]

6. Paste that code into a post or reply here, and your image will appear.

It's not as tough as it sounds!

Have you tried using the INPUT test screen to identify the BET ONE button?

Turn on the machine, open the door, and press the White Test button on the MPU.
 - On a 17" upright, the MPU is tucked below the monitor.
 - On a 13" upright, the MPU is above the monitor.
Touch the Diagnostic-->Input (doing this from memory ... something like that).
Touch the NEXT PAGE button until you get to LAMPs.
Touch the BET ONE lamp and see what button lights up.
If nothing lights up, then go to PREVIOUS PAGE where all the 1's and 0's are.
Press all of your  buttons including the cherry switches inside your machine until the BET ONE goes from 0 to 1.

That might be the fastest way to identify your BET ONE switch.

Okay Ray, the first thing you need to do is box that up and mail it to me! bust gut laughing  Very nice machine!  Very clean too.  Love it!  And I think I see some other cool toys behind it. Sherlock Smiley  You can put those in the same box as the machine when you mail it to me. rotflmao

Did you try the input test screens?  That will tell you if the BET ONE button is hooked up anywhere.

I think I can see in the 2nd pic that you have another set of terminals that are not connected to a switch.  They appear to be tied down with a plastic fastener with the rest of the harness wires.  Am I seeing that right?  I'm thinking that's your missing switch.  It would make sense that a tech would know that button wouldn't come back into play and would simply tie the terminal ends to the harness.  You can CAREFULLY cut the fastener to free up the end and hook that terminal up to one of the other switches tucked away and use the input test screen to see what it is.  You will want to connect the wires like the other switches.  NOTE: It does make a difference what side of the cherry switch the wires are connected to, so just examine it close (or if you want, I can post more details on how to wire the switch).

What do you think?  Are you up for it?  If not, my offer is still open to send me the whole machine.   Tongue Out

You have a very good eye. I did not notice those ends tied up but you are the technician ... Smiley.  I have not had time yet to get into the machine set up. It s a 19" touch screen and as you can see  and the guy I got it from showed me it is under the screen as you said.  The wires on that group wire tied look to be (my glasses are In my car.... Sad    ) 1) blue, purple...   2) green (as you said n/a)  3) double red 4) black, Red  5) yellow/purple.

Yes , funny...I have got some toys for my basement after I spent my 2009 Winter here in Indiana redoing my basement and raising the ceiling.
How do I send you messages on here that are just directed to you? I just don't think I should load up this site w/ a conversation w/ just one person....

Thanks guys as always!

I think you're getting close.   yes

I'm actually not a slot tech no, just a slot owner.  You're welcome to send me a Personal Message using the link from my profile or you can send me an email too from the profile.

However, posting here lets others search and find your issue, which may help them solve theirs in the future, so it's all good.

Plus, a "real" technician or someone with more experience than me (which is a LOT more folks on this site than you might think) may also chime in to help.

You could consider making a donation to the site to help with storage costs if you'd like.

We're all happy to help!
