We were playing our slots last night and my Evel Knievel machine which I was playing stopped working then I could smell that "burning smell" that always means bad news. I turned it off and opened it up, pulled the board and here is what I found in the bottom right corner of the pic. Anyone know what these control and why they would just burn out? I have had this machine for @ 2 years now and never had any trouble other than replacing the main green battery which was @ 4 months ago.

when you replaced the green battery there was it covered in corrosion at all (if you remember)? Those green batteries are known to leak acid when they go bad and will eat away at board components if you don't catch them in time.  could have possibly been a slow reaction to something like that eating away until it finally destroyed those.

No corrosion from the old battery, just too low of a voltage.
