Hi all,

I have just stumbled upon this forum after my machine broke down the other week after working perfectly. I believe that the power supply has blown and possibly taken the game board out with it. Having some limited electronic skills i pulled the power supply out to see if there was anything obvious that had blown, checked the tracks and gave it a clean. However when i put it back in it came back on briefly and booted up to the game screen but with no credit registering in the credit, bet,win and didn't re spin the last game. Then it beeped and started to reboot again and again doing the same thing. After about 4 times of doing this i switched it off and now it wont come back on ( no Power in the power supply).
My question is has anybody got any tips or ideas on the power supply problem and does this sound like it has blown the game board or does it just need to have a RAM clear.

BTW it is running Queen of the Nile.

Thanks in advance.

John

Start with your power supply, It sounds like your mainboard has issues too if it keeps rebooting in the start up screen.
These boards are still available here as well & aprox same $$ value as the power supplies.
Can tell your is an AU machine as the mainboard in US & NZ machines have 3 batteries where yours only has one & has the comms pcb in the cage as well.
