does anybody know what goes bad on the 6602 cash boxes when the B/V keeps cycling and is there a fix. No smart *ss remarks like "buy a new one" would be nice.

Here's your fix for these problems get a bucket of hot water 3 gal. add a 1/4 cup of Simple Green. Insert Cash Box let stand 20 minutes then remove the cash box and rinse with cool water. leave open let dry for 24 hours. Fixed!!

 Agree with Post  yep they get dusty inside.  there are replacement light pipes you can get from Happ but only if the cboxes you have don't have riveted in stackers.  Smiley
most likely you can get them functional again with a good tear down and cleaning; in a pinch a blast with compressed air usually works for a temp fix.
