I recently picked up a 3902 board with the Creature from the Black Lagoon software installed on it, but I’m having difficulty getting it to work in any of my machines.  I can get the Key Chip Menu to come up, but I can’t press any of the menu icons.  Basically, the touchscreen is not responsive.  After the Key Chip Menu comes up, the bill acceptor area will make sputtering noises from time to time as if its trying to do something but cannot.  After a few minutes, the Key Chip Menu disappears and is replaced by the alternating color screens that are common in the set up process.  I have tried this board in more than one cabinet and I get the same results.  The bill acceptors are fine.  Has anyone experienced this before and do you know the cause or solution?  Thanks for your help!

Mark I've read on this site at least a 100 times " The BV cycles " so what  does that tell you. in my opinion nothing unless your working on a BV.  The BV in a S2000, Game King, and a I Game will cycle when you turn power on even if no MPU is installed in the machine. ( assuming it's a good BV )

Have you tested the battery on the MPU ? last weekend I picked up (26) 3902 boards (16) with I Games and not one good battery in the litter. If the battery is good I would put the new game set on a know good board and test it, If the game boots up you have a bad board, if it doesn't boot up you have a bad game set.

Which Key chip are you using ? I Games I use nothing but a Key 22, I don't give a S*** what someone tells me I should use, until a Key 22 fails to clear and key a machine I will continue using it. ( So far it has never failed me )
