I just installed a coin comparator and hopper to my Game King that has a ticket printer. I went into setting and turned in the coin comparator and set the hopper limit to $25.00. I am having two issues. Every-time I drop a coin in the machine, it gives me a credit if $25.00 instead of .25 cents. 2nd I want the machine to payout $25.00 in tokens before it prints a ticket. Can anyone tell me what settings I need to change?

Hi mguistolise!

 NLG Welcome

For issue # 1 ($25 credit per coin instead of $0.25 cents), this is because your coin denomination is set to $25.  You can set your denomination to $0.25 cents and still have $25 as an option so long as your game allows you to have multiple denoms.  You need a key chip to change the denomination.  Alternatively, you could set your hopper limit to $2,500.00.  That would spit out 100 coins (which is how many quarters would come out at $25).

For issue # 2 (drop $25 in coins before printing ticket), that's actually related to the first issue.  You did it correct in that you enabled your coins and hopper and set the limit to $25.  When you press cashout, does one coin come out and the rest go to ticket?  If so, resolving # 1 will also resolve # 2.

Hope this helps! wave

Thanks Dave, that did work. You don't know of a way to get IGT machines or the Game King to accept the tickets they print out, do you? Even a fake bill or coupon or something. I see in the Game King settings an option for printing promo coupons, but cant seem to figure anything out besides real bills.

Yes there is.  It's relatively new and there's been a lot of positive hype about it.  You can buy a device called Bettor TITO for $100 + shipping (search this site for Bettor TITO).

You can also buy another device that someone else is working on for about $45 at ... http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=18559.msg177738#msg177738

Or, you can build your own by reading through this forum ... http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?board=105.0 propeller

A user named, ZarobHR is also working on a complete package of TITO and Player Tracking system for home use.  That's still in progress too, so it's a matter of how fast you want to set it up.

I bought Bettor TITO for 3 of my machines and love it.  You pay more, but you get it now.

Lots of options!!!  Good luck! yes
