Hi,

As a passionate mame gamer I would like to share these links with you. Just like most people I've built this Mame cab for a home entertainment.

Images below.

I hope you like it.

Cheers!

Up and running but not as expected. Unfortunately this cab was a failure due to overheating that was caused by CRT and Computer. I have been advised before that it might be an issue but I didn't listen. In other words it was too packed and no fan extraction could help. I was aiming for an authentic look and simulation of the original cabinets and games. Another issue was the weight of the bloody thing?

MODIFICATION OF THE CAB EXTERNALLY AND INTERNALLY

The depth of the cabinet is reduced and modified for LCD 17†display  and Laptop PC. Finally the cab is running smooth with no overheatin, size or weight issues.

At the back there is enough room to move and store small accessories like joysticks, portable keyboard or mouse. The best part is that you don't need to worry about replacing a laptop. Too easy, just unplug the cables and throw the new one in Smiley

An I-PAC 2 is hidden inside (to your left side) where all the wiring is stored.
