Insert one side of the strip into the channel on the reel and slide it around slowly and carefully until you feel the notch on the strip catch then insert strip properly. Once you find the first one the rest are easy

There isnt a way that they need to line up? I put them in and they were all wrong I was getting paid on one bar..

On IGT reel baskets there is a little tit on the outside of the basket. find the tit and that is where the  notch for the strip is.

don't see one. They are back lit reels, does that make a difference?

No they should all be the same. do you not see the inner notch for the strip when you turn the basket around

There has to be a notch on the reel that lines up with the ones on the end of your strips. run a pin or end of a knife around the the slot till you hit a stop to find them. they are there
