Hi,  Here is some more information regarding my Issue.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

This is my first Slot so i am missing some of the basics,  Own and repaired numerous pins and vids.

My problem is:

The MPU LED is stuck on and NO error codes in win,  Machine does nothing,  Reset button does nothing.

How I got Here:

I picked this up as a non running unit.  It did power up.  I replaced the battery  (same issue as pinballs) .  Performed a manual SafeRAM clear.  It was running.  Accepted dollars but not coins.  I hit the cash out button with no coins in the hopper.  I added 5 coins at a time until it paid out he 15 coin win.  About the same time, I realized the coin mech needed a sample.  I added a sample coin.

I may have removed the coin mech without powering down.
I may have removed the MPU board without powering down.
Is there a reset procedure after a payout when the hopper did not have enough change

If I disconnect the battery  I can get an ERROR code 81 to show up.  Most of the time the MPU LED stays on and the reset is still non-op

every once in a while with the battery disconnected,  I can get err 81 and the reset button will work and, the MPU LED styas off,  after it is in this condition I have powered down, reconnected the battery, powered on and it is back to the MPU LED ON an nothing working,

IM Stuck

If you replace battery or disconnect battery you have to do a complete clear. Code 81 is low battery

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,  But the problem is not with the battery.  I had the machine working after the battery was replaced.

The machine seems to not boot up.  The LED near the reset button (MPU LED1 or reset LED1)  Stays on.

While ts,  I disconnected the NEW batter to force the low batt condition,  I could then get the code 81,  Sometimes after a power on / off the reset LED would stay on and sometimes it would go out. If it was out the reset button appeared to function, but nothing else would work  since the battery is Disconnected.

When I reconnect the battery,  it returns to the original fault condition of (reset LED1 on)  NO fault code,  Nothing working,  Lights are On.

I did try an all clear  but the reset LED1 stays on,   and i get no codes,,   No CHC  No CLC  no codes at all,  Just a stuck on LED1

I had it working after the Battery was replaced and I performed a Manual SafeRam Clear.

t was working.

I hit cash out,  with no coins in hopper,  I was holding the door  inter lock,   I added a few coins at a time until it paid out,

I may have,  removed the coin mech with power on
I may have pulled the MPU board with  power on,

IT seems like the SOFTWARE is HUNG up.

NO codes, and The RESET LED1 is on.

Is there any other type of reset other than the Clear Ram, Full etcc..   Is there something I should do after a payout , without enough in the hopper,

When you pulled the MPU board when powered up
you may have damaged the MPU board.
Never  ttth Never   no   pull a board when the machine is powered on.
I would start looking for another MPU board to try .
