Hello,

I picked up a new stand up JOB with double up feature. It is old school. I am having trouble identifying it and finding schematics and manuals. The board says K4457. It has 13 inch CRT, a primary board, and a power supply.

It came with a fuse blown. I tried a similar fuse and it blew. I tried a slightly higher rated and it came up. When I tried the validator it blew, along with hitting my circuit breaker in my place. Also the rear transformer smoked up. (Yes I know it was bad idea.)

That transformer says:

SEC 120V 1A top
3pb88
549-9221
Pri 120V 60hz bottom

I have been trying to find a compatible replacement.

So I am looking to identify the machine itself, looking to find schematics, manual, parts, list, looking for a replacement part, and

I have since tried the exact fuse and again it blows immediately. I am wondering if that transformer would cause it to blow. I am also wondering what may have cause the original to blow but let it come up with a higher rated fuse until more load was put on it.

I picked up a handful of transformers at the rat shack but not sure what the output of that one should be. I have multimeter in hand. This is my first machine. I am very eager to get this going.

Thanks,
VC

Here is a follow up:
I drew a very rough wiring diagram of my power supply. I am wondering:

1. What fuse I should be using - see red dot
2. What exactly is the transformer/converter piece I also put a red dot next to? I think it is blown and needs to be replaced and I could not find the part. Could someone suggest what I could test for as well?
3. I see the line with the big red dot going to AC on the other unit. I think it was wired wrong and should be going to a ground on that unit. Do you guys agree and would that cause the fuse to blow when enough load is initiated, like turning it on and maybe using the bill validator?

Thanks,
vegasc

I have 2 more quick questions as I am trying to figure this out. I have a new transformer that takes in 120v and it lists as 1.2 amp. I would think that is close enough to 1 amp. I see two outputs coming out of the transformer with one to the crt monitor board and one to the coin intake switch. Would I be correct that 6.3V would work for that ocin switch and that the 12.6V would work for the monitor board?

Thanks,

Here is the pic of the machine if anyone can assist in identifying it.

Thanks!
