I have several Bally Hoppers that at one time worked in Pro series pokers and slots - they do not work in my Gamemaker - I get a hopper jam error - diagnostic says PROBE HOPPER EMPTY.  is there a wire difference?

I think they both used the standard XS1200  model  hopper.

I compared the 5500  and the 7200 upright wiring and both are identical, so in theory they should work.

pin 1= or/ye  door switch
pin 2= rd/ye fwd sense
pin 3= rd/gn fwd enable
pin 4= rd/wt  f/r
pin 5= rd/blk  rev enable
pin 6= ye      coin out
pin 7= bl/orn  coin  probe
pin 8= ye/bl  +24vdc
pin 10=gy/blk  24v gnd
pin 11=gy/orn 24v gnd
pin12 = or/wht  hopper reset
pin13= ye/bl +24vdc
pin 14= bl/ye  fill switch
pin 19= chassis gnd

thanks jim - the diff seems to be on the control board - the gamemaker uses the 339 dual optics - the pro uses 171.  I have chased down the PROBE wiring and it goes to gnd and to the backplane - so could it be in the CPU?  The message I get HOPPER JAM - diagnostic says "HOPPER BOWL SWITCH - NOT FULL"   since the probe only goes to gnd and to the backplane - does not pass thru control board.
