I have a Bally 6000.  Evertime it gets up to 800 credits (dollars) the machine stops and requires a handpay out.  Does anyone know how to up this limit?

Do you have a set of saferam clears to get into and set your options? If you do, have you ever set options before? Or do you need very detailed instructions what to do?

The default is 800 Credits.
To change from the default.
With the door open press TEST button until message center displays 11d in the Win Paid display.
The first option is option 27
Use the BET MAX button to forward to option 56 (Credit Collect Lockup)
Use the SPIN button to increment or the CHANGE button to decrement the numerical settings 0000 to 9999
Exit and save the option by pressing the RESET button,TEST button or closing the door.

Thank you I tried this...this is the first time I have ever tried to change the settings on my machine.  I got to the point where I press the SPIN button to increase the limit and I get an ERR  (error).  After reading some of the manual which a lot of it makes no sense to me (sorry), I noticed that option 56 cannot be greater than option 67 which it is not.  Option 56 is currently set to 800 and option 67 is set to 8000.  Any more help would be appreciated.  I'm afraid to keep playing with the machine as I don't want to screw it up, which I'm sure with me is totally possible.

Currently my machine only accepts money and not coins or tickets.  Also the ticket printer is disabled (I would like to get that working again but thats another step for later on).  I"m only mentioning this as I was wondering if that could be the problem.

Thanks group!

No I don't think I have a set of saferam clears?  I have never tried changing anything on my machine before.  I'm afraid I'll mess it up.  Thank you for the help.  I would most likely need very detailed instructions.  thanks again Smiley

Keep in mind some settings can only be changed with "0" credits on the machine. you must cash out.

Lindsay is right on the money here.  This setting can't be changed with credits on the machine.  Saferam clear chips are not required to change limits.

Thanks,
