I am trying to put Cash Encounters on a 7217.

I have 24 mains, and all of the eproms (1-6 in rom slots 1-6) and the 2 dedicated sound chips in place...

Is there a dip / toggle to make a gamemaker a dedicated game that I ma missing?

Hey hey,
On dip SW/2  dip #2 is for deluxe sound and dip#4 is for 12 button deck. I don't know if that helps.

Reference page 2-14 of module 2

Very cool - When I flipped the sound switch - nada sound (must not be an advanced sound board in there), but it worked and the game is now active...

I will go turn off the advanced sound switch and see if I at least get normal boring sounds...

Mucho gracias

Kool,

If I remember right, a second speaker is needed with the deluxe sound board, and your sound chip goes in that board. I think it is located behind and to the right of your dbv if factory installed. Tacman, chime in.

Richard

Added: You mention 2 sound chips. I'm thinking those are graphics as sound is only 1 chip if I remember

Deluxe sound board would be seperate from the main boards and probably on the right side of the cabinet. It will have a pot with an adjustment stem for volume contol and the specific sound eprom for the game would go into that board. I think when you posted you may have called the graphics eprom set in sockets G0 & G1, the "dedicated sound chips". Check the Submit New File section for the Gamemaker Mains file. I believe if you use the 0604-20 Mains you do not have to flip dip #4, but you do lose some button features.

Great minds think alike!   arrow arrow arrow K+ back to ya!

Good luck on that WMS cabinet, they're going for top dollar for the last year or so because South America is buying them and the NXT boards up. I hear there may be some slant top 360 machines down around Texas way.
