Except anything a burglar would normally expect to find money in would be a primary target yes

might be an interesting idea. it will draw attention to where your money is but these things are heavy and can be bolted down and i dont think many burglars would have the time to get in if you do it right.
if i were to convert one i would start out by backing the glass with el paper and a sheet of steal so they cant just smash the glass and get whats inside. second plug the standard locks and get a servo or solenoid and build a new lock mech for the doors that is controlled by the player tracking display and keypad that is already inside most of these things. if you make the machine free play or bill only you can strip out the hopper weld in a small box and you can actually store a good bit of stuff in one and it will still be functional.

I leave my machines unlocked with the keys in them (unless friends are over playing them, so wandering hands don't get inside the machines and mess with something).  If my house got broken in to, I'd rather have the thief open the machine and see that there's nothing in there, rather than smash the expensive-to-replace glass and who knows what else trying to get inside it.

Same for me! All machines unlocked with keys inside locks. They can have the nickels! Just don't smash my machines!  ttth

I am also a pro-NO LOCK person, steal my coins, tokens and cash if any is in there, just do not smash the machines before I blow your head off and drag your dead body in the other room before you bleed out on the game room carpet...

I love the post ..

it brings up a interesting fact about "NO-TRESSPASSING SIGNS"  people think that a sign cant stop them from entering a persons property .
True it physically cant .. but if you post the signs on your property in the distance they require by your state law or county law or town law ..they do become effective when you call police when you have a unwanted guessed --who trespasses .I recently proved it to my neighbor who tresspssed on my property to remove my "no trespass" signs so he could cut firewood for his own house .. he was arrested and bailed and summoned to court . after he admitted to the police officer he removed the signs i put up .

So my point is they do work in some cases .. without violence .

they made him pay me for the 5 steel signs i purchased at LOWES . --they were 3.99 each i think ..I did not even care .. I purchased 5 others within a few days the first ones were gone .. but i did submit the slips at the next court date ..

The idiot put the NO TRESS PASS SIGNS curled up bent to shit in his trash barrels out for pickup . that's how we found them ..
its the 100 hours of community service he has to do .. that the female Judge gave him .. lol
if he had cut a tree that would of got me pissed .. but He never got that far ..

just got home tonight ...from a conservation meeting where i had to file a notice of intent -to cut down a storm damaged tree from the massive blizzard we had on Feb 8 + 9Th this year 40 + inches of snow in less than 24 hours . the tree is in the 50 feet buffer zone of wetlands .the town wants there 25.00 bucks to rubber stamp a form so i can go cut it and not get fined 300.00 a day "FOR CUTTING IT WHILE ITS STILL UPRIGHT" with no 25.00 fee paid .

what a racket they got going ..
one guy i was listening to a hour before me was fined 300.00 a day for doing a half @ss tree removal after he filed and paid 25.00 bucks but never went back to clean up the mess .. these towns are pulling in $$ bigtime for people that are stupid from the get go .
>>>>its not a fine print issue <<<<you cant miss there print its bigger than mine when i do my CAPS ALL THE WAY LOL

every town /county /city /etc has hidden laws or some law on books to get paid for something .. but cutting down a damaged tree is kinda much for me to see ???? when i could leave it until it drops then cut it up no fee ??
