I was ask to  working on a Bally S6000. They told me it just started to make noise it was turned off know it wont come back on.
When the machine firer up the Bally saying come up. so it has sound.
All the florescent come on. There is an LED that flashes on the CPU.
I have no front display or candle.
Check the main power supply have 5 and 12 volts.
There is a transformer to the right of the power supply, I think it run the 24 volts in the machine.
Between the white wire and the red wires I have continuity. the black/red wires, orange and black wire are all shorted to getter. part number  on transformer is E122-217g.

any help please

measure the voltages at the backplane.  I assume this to be an upright.  the coloured test points are at the left lower side of the backplane and are clearly marked for the required voltages. +5, +12, -12, +24, 7.5VAC  .

Thanks and good luck,
Wayne

p.s.  I also moved this post to the appropriate section.

I had a similar issue and found that a chip in U43 was bad.   So check the chips in U28, U43, U18, and U20 to make sure there are no bent legs or that any of those chips are in backwards

Good luck
