Was turning it on today to show a friend and once music started screen never came on and then heard a popping or crackling noise from back of monitor chassis. Smelled the smell of electrical death but didn't get to see what was malfunctioning. Game plays blind with chassis removed. Any ideas ladies and or gentlemen?
Thanks James

Sounds like monitor/display board

Probably going to have to replace some caps.

I am no video whiz so I'll leave that info to the experts!
