I have something I have never encountered,  I have an S2000 Double Stars,  the display says Bet 180 Coins which scrolls through the display continuously.  The display does not show how much you have in the machine.  The machine plays fine it displays where there is an error.  I don't really know why it continues to simply display the Bet 180 Coins and nothing else,  probably a simple answer but I am stumped.

Did you add it to a older s-2000? Or was that the way you got it?

This was the way I got it,  it had not worked at all until I cleared and keyed it.

I will research this as this is strange prob.  Almost looks like you have software issues.  List what you are running on all chips unless you have a "r" board.  Some one will prob. chime in but I am hitting the sack for the nite.

I will check the version also,  thanks for all the great advice.  It seems that every machine has variations in the software.

I changed game 1 and 2 to SG000363 and changed the version chip also.  The game would come up call attendant and need to be reset but never would start would just loop back to call attendant over and over.  I changed the chips back and of course the game plays but the display says Play 180 coins.

After the chip change you'll need to go through normal jackpot key and push the white button resets. Might also have to use a clear chip to change the version chip
