Is this a newly acquired machine?  Did it ever work correctly?
When you say "It does not pay out" are you saying that it is not adding credits or displaying the proper Winner Paid amount?
When you say it "makes the payout sound" is it multiple "Dings" for each credit paid or a Single "Ding" sound?
Why do have to reset the machine?
What is being displayed on the LED's ?
Is the candle flashing at all?

Please provide more detail.

Agreed -- it sounds like it's hitting a jackpot lockup every time he hits any win.

Please tell us what game theme (game title) is in your machine, and the number on the SP chip.  You can determine the latter by following the instructions found here:

It is a newly acquired  machine but it was working when I got it, It is a DD splus sit down model, when the combination hits a win  multiple  dings play and the candle light lights also the change button lites up but no pay outs? I will check the digital read out and see what it displays tonight and post it.

Ok ,I am getting kind of messed up as to the posts as I am new to the fomat and can not find the replys but I will learn, The machine does not pay out when it hits a wining line but dings repeatly, the hopper does not move ,the candle lites up both bulbs, the change button lites up and the display shows how many coins I played on the game, it is a splus sit down and I did say it was a DD but it is a triple D I have to use the reset key to play another game and that game will lock up when hit also.

Is there a 2nd number (either 3 or 4 digit)that comes up after the 4786 is displayed? That is really the one we need..then we can tell you which menu to go in to change your hopper limits (to something other than 0) so that the hopper will come to life and spit out coins when you when.  yes

I took that number off the chip and later realized it was the reel chip, So when I pulled the game chip I ended up using a clear chip and got the game going back to the way it should
play. Thanks for the help everyone. I was confused with the forum as it jumped me around, the last time I used it reply's were emailed to me but this time I had to go in the forum's and find them, But any way it all worked out and THANKS again
