Hopefully someone has run across this already..  Help

I am taking out my BB1 reels and putting in an LCD touchscreen.

I have the vga cable connected fine; machine boots and have video on new LCD.. To get the touchscreen to work i was "hoping" to just unplug the serial harness from the little LCD in the belly glass (that goes to J4 on the backplane "touchscreen") and plug it into the touchscreen serial port on the new LCD.

Getting Touchscreen Device Error and it won't work on the new LCD. Have done a ram clear and still no go.

I'm thinking the pinouts for the Kristel LCD in the belly glass are different then the new LCD; and that i may have to modify the harness. Does anyone have the pinouts for that LCD in the belly glass ? Or maybe i'm barking up the wrong tree on this ?

The Kortek shows it has a "Digitech DTC-03S" controller in it.

Thanks for any input.

Here is the pin out for the J4 connector on the back plane.  Hope this helps.

For blind people like myself I just added a larger pic we all should be able to see.  Click on it and it will enlarge.

Thanks for the pinouts.. K+ to you..  Hail

I was able to determine that pin 4 on the Kortek corresponded to pin 3 on the LCD in the belly door. And pin 3 corresponded to pin4. So i rewired 3 --> 4 and 4 --> 3 and it works now.

Thanks again for the help.
