I just picked up my first slot.   I think its an Ainsworth Aristocrat model.
Can anyone tell me anything about it or what its valued at?   Im having a hard time finding reference material or a schematic.

Its locked tight and I need to drill the lock tonight.   I dunno if it  works but i do EM pins and am confident that i can repair this also if its out of whack

I havent tried plugging it in yet tho it looks like someone replaced the power cord.

I think ill need a base that the payout falls into.....

A new fun project.  Not like i dont have enough projects   Smiley

OK  so i got it open. Its an Aristocrat for sure

No nickels and one broken spring at the bottom.   The arms that lock the reels dont seem to actuate into the lock position.
Where could i find a manual for this?

Thanks,
J

SO i took the score reel assembly out and made sure everything was working as expected.

In the process i unstuck whatever was jammed so now the clock runs and the brakes work as expected

may payout slides seem alright and move smooth but i think  need some cleaning.

I did find 2 bucks in the coin tube still!!!

I replaced the reel assy and the machine seems to work alright.  It pays out correctly most of the time but does payout consistently on some odd combinations.

The first reel seems to sometimes not get kicked correctly but the rest move freely as expected.

Anyone know where to get the coin box it sits on?

Maybe instead of routing the coins into a box, channel them back into the payout tray - then you'd never have to open the machine and could just play away with fewer coins.

Seems like otherwise, you'd need to cut a hole in the stand, and empty the box. Is there a payout hopper in it, or does it just pay from the coin tube?

There is a slot stand that has a coin tray
built into the top. Place a WTB for this
type stand to see if any are still avaible.

Thanks for the replies.   I found that the payouts were off as the springs for the slides had come off.

The coins drop into the coin tube so the machine doesnt need to be open.
The part that is missing in the picture that you do not see is the overflow tube.

I need exaclty the box with the coin tray in it!

Now im in search of some springs for the reel payout fingers,

Ill post a WTB for both items

Thanks,
Jeff

I've got one of those - great machines. But mine has a coin tray.

There's a small wire hook at the bottom right between the reels and the payout tube. If you pull it forward, it blocks the clock so that the game never completes a cycle and stops the reels. This is for testing - pull it forward, pull the handle, set up a payout, push it back to cycle and pay out.
