I have a IGT Game King Players Edge in a slant top, model number: XAAHC with a scrambled (confetti) screen. I have checked and rebuilt the power source to no avail. I know the game board and chips are fine as they work in another game king. I am having huge problems finding parts. I believe to have isolated the problem to the internal module in either a faulty mother board, or "tray assembly." I would greatly appreciate any help.

Just a suggestion but have you tried to replace the Aries(Ram) chips U15 and U38?

I put the game board into another igame and it worked fine. I believe it is something burned out in the Lower Module Assembly Tray. http://rwatts.cdyn.com/download/PEPLUS/Mechanical%20Parts.pdf

The Ram chips are the most common problem on this error in a Game King. The link you gave is for a PE Plus, a much much older machine.
