I don't know who else has done these things so it may just be a re-post...BUT, if you don't like the extra "Clicking", "Clacking" noises while you play,  arrow or have other reasons for a quieter play time (kids, babies, wife, etc), here's what to do:

- First, disconnect that "clicky" meter.  Simple!  Just open the door and pull the plug connected to the meter at the right. (Unlike S2000 machines, S+ gives no error codes that need to be bypassed for this..at least mine didn't).
- Next, is that noisy Solenoid that sounds off each time a reel stops.  UGh!  (S2000 machines give the option for reel-stop sound or none, but my S+ has only the solenoid and it's annoying without the loud Casino environment to drown it out, lol)  Just pull the plug from the solenoid near the pull-handle inside the cabinet on the right.  You'll see it.
- And since you've pulled power to the solenoid, the arm won't work because it's locked without solenoid relief to pull.  So... get a medium sized Zip-tie and "zip it" to close the solenoid in an 'active' position. (Basically, just put the Zip-tie around the open solenoid lever and zip it closed).  Now the arm will work/ratchet every pull, but will only work when it's supposed to.  It's really just another 'Spin Reels' Button. The ratchet sound/action is only for the effect of old-school slot mechanics.

That's it!  Now the only sounds you'll hear are from the speaker.

For what it's worth, you can disable the solenoid clacking for the reel stops by selecting the "reel stop sound only" option either by DIP switch or in the menus (depending on what SP chip you're running).  That will eliminate the reel spin music, but will also replace the actuating of the handle solenoid with a much gentler simulated reel stop noise from the speaker.
