Boy, it MUST be Friday....lol.....nuts
I think the .bin warnings should be posted in larger print
or at least PLACED right underneath the emoticons on top of the dialog box where someone types to write a post?

Thanks Jimmy!, applause
I have the Treasure Tunnel SG150B Plus  though... no
I found a manual for it,but I'm still getting dual flashing BDV lights and no acceptance... bawling
I've located a DBV for the Sigma from Darell in Cali... yes
Maybe swapping it with a new one will solve my DBV problems? Scratch Head

It's not pulling any bills in...and when it does...it doesn't add it to the credits.
It's almost like the MPU is bogged down like an overworked processor too...you think my ram is clogged up?
I'm thinking of trying a ram clear and rebooting it.

What is the history of the problem?...Did the DBV ever work or did you just try to add one?...Have you changed out the MPU board recently or made any changes?...Did the problem happen ust over night?...

When I got the machine, I was told that the DBV wasn't taking any bills...
I started it up while the door was open, and noticed that the DBV wasn't going through it's motions.
Isn't it supposed to make the transport move down then up?
Anyways, no whirring at all...
Also, I don't have any spare boards for this to swap so it wasn't a game change or anything.
The lights on the front of the DBV just continually flash slowly....like as if it's telling me there's an error.
When I turn the reset key, I get a message that says "Now reseting Bill Valid" on the display.
It takes about 45 seconds then the DBV lights begin their slow flashing again.
It still doesn't pulll any bills.
There are two set of dips under the DBV-200SH...maybe I need the set them?
I haven't yet moved any...seems like all are set for "off" except for the first 1st switch in the second bank.

Yes,
I am told that the stickers may or may not be reliable but here's the info I have on it>>

AN original looking sticker shows this>>
DBV-200-SH
906041580
DBV-200-A344

One sticker shows this info>>
Model: DBV-200
DC 12V   5VA
DBV-200-SH
ID 011
V2.01 C60C

another sticker shows this>>
DBV-200-SH
ID 011-015
V2.12-09

The eprom on the bottom shows this>>
DBV-200-SH
ID011-015
V2.12-09

There are 10 dips in the first bank...all are set to "Off"
There are 6 dips in the second bank...1 is set to "On" 2/3/4/5/6 are set to "Off".

It all sound correct....Here is a link to help you with the 200 head...
http://www.jcm-american.com/docs/manuals/960-000077.pdf
Let me know if that helps...
Double check the cable to the MPU....You did say you have a 150 upright?...

Yes ,you're correct...I think Scratch Head
I do have the Sigma 150B Plus upright with the coffin top (Treasure Tunnel) 3Coin game.

The best way to describe the DBV cable connection is that
when you're looking at the DBV from the front in it's normal position,
the first wire on the right side plugged into the DBV (the side facing the cabinet wall where the drop is.) is brown.
On the left side of the DBV, it gets plugged into a small circuit board with headers.
I can't mess that up because one header on the circuit board is larger (has more pins) than the other and
only connects to the DBV one way.

What may be the best way to bypass the cash box/drop switches? Wire them together?
Because, in the end, would like to have the DBV accept bills and
just let the conveyor belts drag it through the transport on spit the bills into the open drop door.
It would be easier to pull the same $20 dollar bill with my right hand and
re-insert it into the DBV without having to unlock the drop door,
then stick golf cards into the sides to trip the cash box latches to get the cash box out to get at the bill. ARRRGHHH!
(these games weren't designed for us home users....lol)

ADD>> thanks for the JCM sheet!

It sounds like the DBV is bad...You should have the wiring schematic that shows the switches...You can bypass if you like...that is about as far as I can get you...I am more of a hands on guy...Best of luck

 Sorry,just seen this post.
bust gut laughing If I could count the hours I've spent on the Sigma 150's and 300's ... Start with,if the sticker is right, ver 011 is for the Sigmas'. When you look at the board where the cable from the MPU plugs in to the DBV(it is a DBV and not a WBA,right Smiley) make sure the "guide" pin is on the bottom...it will go either way. And if it is a DBV,make sure the connection on the MPU is plugged in to the front black connection...it will also fit in the second one also  Duh!.

I could go on,however, since this is a old post you may have it fixed  yes

Well,
I'm glad you saw this post Randy because I had forgotten all about updating it....lol  Duh!
It's been a few weeks now but I got it going...
It now accepts all kinds of bills and the game is really a blast to play... yummy
I ended up buying a DBV from slots4home and threw it in and it worked like a charm...thanks D! applause
I also got the 25 cent denom chip as well from our good friend Ben at Fannini slots... yes
These chips are extremely static sensitive I warn ya....
the first denom chip produced nothing...
I inquired to Fannini slots about it and he sent me another one right away in a static bag this time...
when I put it in , it worked perfectly...thanks Ben! Hail
