OOPS.  Please move to S2000 section - Sorry.  (Mod Note: done, no problem)

Working on a Top Dollar 2 Coin set up for a Progressive.  Everything cleared as a normal S2000, CRC mismatch, EEPROM, etc.

Went to Key chip it and an Invalid Key Chip message appeared.  Tried 17, 22 (for the heck of it), a 45, and again, for the heck of it, an enhanced clear/set chip - INVAILD KEY CHIP!!

I read something about progressives sometimes having an extra layer of security, (Cleared Door L Open Message).

Is there a special key chip for these chips on the board?? Never seen orange labels before.

Tried to post pictures, upload file full message received.

The chip numbers are:  SGW00376 GME 1 & 2, SB-WB100854

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

I would of thought a clear 224 and a set 45 should work fine Scratch Head Are your chips good and inserted properly?

Well the Good news is that you are using the correct Clear IVC-224, however wrong Key... but the bigger issue is that that is a Lease Linked Game and isn't going to play as a stand alone with that chip combo, neither the Game or Base chip, the W and Orange mean Lease well W means WAP usually, but bottom line is you are gonna need some chips at a minimum to play stand alone

I don't think you would want to invest in a WAP controller set up to play this type game

The correct Key would be a Key 32, but still not get game to play

Well that's not good news but I figured something was up. Never heard of a leased link game.

Looks like I will be posting a WTB for the right chips. I don't suppose they will match my glass.  I will post pictures tomorrow. Seem to be having trouble posting pictures tonight.
