I have an s2000 5 reel machine that I have cleared and keyed,  the acceptor lights up there appears to be no errors but it rejects any bill from 1s to 20s.  I replaced it with  a working acceptor from another machine same issue.  I moved the system board from a working 5 reel machine into it and same problem.  All of the wiring looks correct and is connected.  I put a different cash box in.  I am out of ideas any thoughts would be appreciated.

I went in and checked it shows it is enabled,  I had it search again and the software said it did see the validator.  Could any of the IO boards affect it?

Couple of other settings to try ... the bill limit, which I set to $3,000.00 (the max) and also the number of bill retries, which I also set to the max of 99.

Hope that helps!

Yes it works and I moved another validator into this machine that I knew for sure worked,  it did exactly the same thing,  really crazy deal!

And it works fine in other S2000s? Not s+, Bally, Ateonic, CDS, WMS, or Konami?? Sorry, but we need to clarify this, as that makes ALL the difference and would be why it is not working in an S2000.

After checking limits, I would change out the BV harness. Pain in the butt, I know, but it's a suspect.

Its an s2000 and I had thought about changing the harness,  I have to take one out of another machine and put it in that one.  I will just have to gut up and try it.  I moved a working bv out of another and it did the same thing.
