I have the S2000, 9 line, 10 credit, Leopard Claw slot. I believe it used to play a song like the one in the link below and now it just make the generic payout noise. I've looked through all of the setting and can't find out where to make the change. Do I need to use the key chip to get into more detailed features?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by "I believe it used to..."? Has it changed since you had it? Do you have a MultiMediaLite Board (piggyback board that attaches to your MPU board)? And is there a small (1"x4") sound SIMM card installed on the MultiMedia board?

The Sound SIMM should be labeled DSV00116, I believe.

My wife swears it played a song during payout and to be honest I don't remember if it did or not. It has the Multimedia lite board and the simm card. If I'm not mistaken I can't get into enhanced sound because it's more than 45 credits. I discovered that my Triple 7s won't go into enhanced because it's a 180 credit machine.

Well, if it played them once, we can get it to do it again! Haven't you learned by now that the wife is NEVER wrong?!?!?  Shame on you for doubting her! rotflmao

One basic way to figure it out is to remove the MML2 and SIMM completely and see what the sound is like, then install it, change settings, and compare. You might find the sounds you have are as good as it gets. Make sure the SIMM card is seated right (it should lay completely parallel with the board, and be latched in the little brass latches on the side of the receptacle. I just got in trouble this weekend for not having a SIMM in correctly... frying pan

As to the amount of credits, you should be ok up to 90 credits, anything over is where sounds are lost.

I watched the YouTube video and none of the sounds in that video require a MultiMediaLite Board.  Those are all standards non-MML sounds.  Maybe try disabling any enhanced sound settings or removing the MML board.  I think the "song" you are referring to are the "Rollup" sounds when you get a win.
