Has anyone ever come across an error like this?

I'm trying to get this Extreme Reels kit working and It appears I may need a special sub-panel to make the game play.

Right now I have installed a 20 line panel.

Is that the reel glass that came with it?  It's a 5-5-2.  I think you need the 6-6-3 version of the sub panel along with the reel glass.  WMS web site shows Xtreme Reels games as 10 line games using the 6-6-3 reel glass and sub panel.

I am ignorant - I have no
Idea what 5-5-2 means

The kid didn't come with the reel glass.
I remember that it is different in the casino.

OK, what this refers to is the windows, Line Bet, WinMeter and Credits.  You are using a Hot Hot Sub Assembly and reel glass with a Non Hot Hot game.   The Hot Hot sub assembly you are using has a max number of 2 digits in the Line Bet window, and 5 each in the WinMeter and Credits windows.  See attached pic I took from the WMS site with the correct glass and sub assembly. The Total Bet window is increase too by 2 digits from 3 to 5.  Notice that the windows are larger and the denomination is shifted.

That solved the problem!  I put in a 6-6-3 sub panel and the game works!

thanks for all your help
