My lights do not work on reels. Go to 4.10 to check & all work. Any suggestions where to start looking?
Thanks Ford

What chip set are you using Ford? Some don't support backlit reels

Can you try 363, 597 or 598 SG's? I honestly don't remember if it was the SB or SG chips that decoded the issue Scratch Head

Reel touch is where this subject first came up a while back. Been thinking about it some and you might see what other SB chips are available for your title

Are your chips original IGT? Where they work in test mode you may have a bad chip or even an IO card issue causing the problem

Original chips, Switched IO card on side of MPU
When get time maybe switch control behind reels.
What's strange is they work in test

That's what baffles me also. Maybe the cable between the back light control and IO card? MPU?

Another guy is running the same as me & his works. Maybe I should look into trying chips like you have.

Didn't we have this awhile back? Seems like it was an SG or Version chip?

Sorry for the late post. I know this has been a hot topic for the last couple days, but something came to me all of a sudden!

Throw in some 363s and a GX1 and see what happens....then we can start eliminating until we find the "culprit"....

A multidenom version chip shouldn't be a problem on a reel touch game. I don't have a Tabasco, but I should be able to see what's on my Denver Duck and Bucks Ahoy later tonight. They are both multidenom

I don't think it's the chips. I'm down to back board (mother board) The reels plug into. I have a 504 board. I have an enhanced MPU & mother board I got from Glenn which I'm going to try this week.
