WEEEEELL, It's not the motherboard & MPU. Put new enhanced motherboard & MPU in. Same thing. Almost didn't have to worry about it. Came over from work, feed Sally & went @ it. Hurrying put it on table to get inside to work on. Started jacking up & hear a crunch. Almost had a flat top. With topper & candle I only had 1 to 2 inches to roof. It hit but no damage.

Power supply doesn't explain why they worked in test mode though does it? Scratch Head

I never thought it was power supply. I swapped EVERYTHING else & harness out several times. Took note supply was warmer than normal so I swapped.

P>S> 2 lights staying on fixed, wrong bulbs

That's one for the notebook...but one has to ask:

What occurs differently during test mode than in regular game play? Voltage/Power? Path? Netplex devices not in equation in test mode?

C'mon guys, there has to be a logical reason for this. We're soooo close!!! We know a failing power supply will give wacky errors, so what comes to mind?

Keep in mind, I am not knowledgable on power, electricity, or electronics, (basically anything to do with how stuff that plugs in works), but something doesn't quite add up here. Is it the power supply had one foot in the grave and couldn't power the backlit reels during game play, but could do so during test mode when nothing else was being powered?

Edit: Just for kicks, can we try that power supply in another machine???? If you don't want to Ford, send it my way....

First thing was power supply got hot. When I got it working when in test mode the lights were a lot brighter with new supply than they were with old power supply. As video I posted you can see they would light up but they were not that bright.
Answer is supply was on last leg just would not roll over & die. I hope this will help someone in the future. I know I learned from this.

I hope what you've learned (As I have) that Reel Touch Machine can be a real treat to work on, just wait til you have an issue with the top box P/C. Fun....Fun....Fun!

Have a great day, Ford
