 game emprom:
ss4324 igt
ordered a wild cherry game some time ago, just now getting around to installing it, noticed
that reel chip is not what it should be, 97% ss4028 2c wild cherry, i got this chip instead

The ss4028 sounds like would have been the correct chip that you need for your game.
Stayouttadabunker provided a link to Cartoon Wild Cherry. This SAME chip is used for
Wild Cherry, Cartoon Wild Cherry, Super Joker, and Seven Seas game themes. (2-coin of course)

You were instead sent a chip (ss4324) which is for 2-Coin Double Wild Cherry. Obviously NOT
what you need.

You should be able to purchase the eprom you need from one of the venders listed above.
ie, Blueridgeslots, Lemans1969, Rocky Mountain Slots, etc.

I found out what happened...I had copied and pasted from the list "Sort By Game Theme"...there's aTYPO in it...I don't know how to fix it.
In THAT list, it shows that the strips for SS4028 should be "20A"...it needs to be corrected by someone who has admin rights to get in there and make changes.

I just sorted the excel spreadsheet by theme.   Some of the titles are not exact though.
