WARNING: CRAZY SLOT PERSON

« on: March 22, 2009, 08:22:56 PM »

Just got my s2000, looks very nice, easy maintenance etc. very happy with it.
Changed the RWB to a 5x Pay (5L 15credits).
A couple of questions.

1. For the small buttons, which bulbs should I order and where? (and can I pull realy hard to get the sockets out?)
2. Before I converted it to the 5x Pay it said accepted € 50.00 after the conversion, it says accepted $ 50.00, I cannot find a setting
on this. Is this EPROM dependable ? (BA still accepts euro bills)
3. When I look on video's online I notice that the blue display displays credits etc. Mine only says, Play 75 credits, insert coins, can I change that?
4. Where can  get an amp to use both speakers? ( see http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=2396.new#new )
5. What should I do when I want to install a 4 wheel game, get another base and extra power only? (where can I get that?)

I've posted the pix below.

1. the buttons use E73 bulbs available at most gaming parts suppliers.  i use Happ at www.happcontrols.com
3. the blue display is called a VFD, what is displayed depends on your version chip on the mpu.  if the version ends in GX0 then it is only single denom capable and is probably what you have.  if you get a version that ends in GX1 it is multi-denom capable and will display the dollar amount in the top corner like you want.
5. having done a few 3 reel to 4 reel conversions i can say that they are tons of fun!! you will need a new reel shelf, and a reel harness that has 5 plugs.  you may already have this harness depending on how old your game is.  you will also probably have to change your payline 7 seg.
