I love this!  It's cool as can be.  Assuming I win it (which I know I won't), could I swap out the SIMM on my S2000 10X Pay with a Frank Sinatra SIMM to get corresponding sounds?  I guess that would just be a waste of money ... this would probably be better served on an actual Sinatra game.

The Sinatra game appears to be part of the Diamond Cinema series.  What is that?  Is that even compatible with S2K?

So many questions ...

I'm fairly confident that would have been a S2000 game, Dave.

That's great new Knagl!!

So, according to the Mississippi's Gaming Commission Approved Firmware List .pdf, it seems I would need the following ...

G0001063 GME1 x2
C0000608 CGF
C0000608 PXLF x3
DSS00147 SNDF or DSS00269 SNDF

Where would these eproms go? Scratch Head
RD0037 or RDF007
W0000442 or W0000443
WB100174 SINATRA .25 10X P

Thanks!  :Dave wave

W0000442 or W0000443
WB100174 SINATRA .25 10X P

Wouldnt those be WAP games? Like leased/pay per day/not casino-owned?

Hmmm ... what if I just throw the sound SIMM in my existing 10X Pay S2K game, will the sounds work or will I get an error that I have the wrong mix of games?

DSS is i-Game and DSV is S2K, yes?  If so, then I guess that won't work. no

Someone with a simm writer might be able to take the sounds off the DSS chip and put them on a DSV chip I would think. Didn't Bunker one time write his own DSV file? Scratch Head
