Just picked this one up yesterday. I am unsure of the dob, the numbers are worn off, it has a service sticker from 84 inside the machine, & a serial #CV-1253 tag on the outside. Upon ignition, the power supply sounds like the whine from a jet engine getting up to speed, the green led's are lit inside the power supply. The fluorescent lights are working, but not seeing any signs of life elsewhere on the machine. I removed the boards, cleaned all connections, plugs etc.  checked the battery, which surprisingly was still good. The wires going to the credit meter have been cut & removed.(See pic. red arrows pointing to cut wires). I'm not sure where to start on this one, or if I should just unload it. I have 0 $ invested in it at this time.
   Thank you.

I don't recall mine making that jet engine sound ever but I think the power supply is the best place to start since you say there is no signs of life.  I'd check into it and confirm all its voltages are present.

Cheers,
Mark
