Aristocrat MK6 Excite Poker Machine Problems.

I have a CRT Touch Screen Excite MK6 Machine, I was just adjusting the Focus, I did it about 4 times, Still out of focus, I need a Technicians lead so I can see what I'm doing, Anyone got one or 2 to sell?

The 5th time I put the screen back into the machine, Turned the Machine on and no Screen, Then Error lockup, I have checked everything, Optics, Plugs, Boards, I have even placed the Boards into my Other MK6 Machine, and it does run OK on it. No Errors. Lucky 88.

So there is a Lock up Error and the CRT Screen does not come on at all.

Could I have damaged the Screen or Screen Port?

I don't know what the error lock up is as I can't see the Screen!

Any help and one of those Technicians Screen Cord extension would be appreciated

Thanks          Help

Put your screen out of your other mk6 into it & see the lock up, I doubt you damaged anything as the molex plug will not allow wires to e crossed/shorted etc.
I have a test lead but no good to you up there, GM Electronics could repair the chassis for you they do all repairs Sydney way.

More then likely if touch screen is set then the error is probably touch screen error.if mother board has a VGA socket then try plugging LCD in

Get rid of that well Gardner chassis

by the sounds of it the fly backs stuffed not worth mucking around

I would replace with a LCD better option for that model of machine easy to find now days

I'm just up the highway a bit and sounds as if your in Sydney.  Defiantly sounds like fly back shot and you can buy them from GM or Game tec. Cost about $24. You can buy a set of leads but pretty expensive unless you using all the time.
