Just did a simple battery change, safe ram clear using JW 10 while holding test and pseudo button, then received a reel initiation error.

Upon further investigation, found that the reel harness behind the main board was partially disconnected. Reconnected (with the power off) and now the red light on front of the main board is flashing and nothing is displayed in the win paid or credit window.

Did I fry the board?

It will not allow me to clear it again.

Appreciate your wisdom.

Mike

Hi MAH,

Its not looking good...
For some reason you now are having continuous system resets.  My best guess is something is connected up wrong or fried.  I'd suggest you go back and inspect everything you touched. It could be something simple though catastrophic like a plug reversed of a chip installed reversed.

Good luck & keep us posted.

Mark

Thanks Mark,

I plan on doing just that this weekend before posting a WTB.

Thanks for the reply and I will post my progress.

Mike.
