I installed my spectrum on an S2000 and it has lit up red scrolling "No Data". I have not did the key chip yet. Question is, can I display a message and the progressive amount? Will there be a menu for that? Something like Welcome to Jim's $1526.00 or so.

I'm having some trouble setting up the spectrum.

For keychip config1, I have 7.1 key config. and 7.2 key config2. No 7.3

at 7.1 I have denom. 7.1.2 game select 7.1.3 bonus menu 7.1.4 progressive 7.1.4.1 controller select 7.1.4.2 prog. display setup=NONE 7.1.4.3 standalone setup 7.1.4.3.1 level1 limit 2000. base 1000. 00.2500% current 1000.

In 4.3 It say's sprectrum installed. Aux. bonus device not responding and aux. dotm not responding.

At start up get a brief "NO DATA" then goes away with nothing else coming up.

Any suggestions??

you will need a key chip like a 37 or 45.......after once you get to config click cash out button twice it should bring you to  progressive if that apears you need to set it up....... if it doesnt say progressive your game might not support a progressive meter........

Ok I put in a set of 363's and a sb 100074. I have the 7.3 option now. My instructions said Start with no credits on machine, remove mpu and replace stepper base chip with key chip. Reinstall MPU and turn on machine. When you see the amber led, turn back off and remove key chip and reinstall stepper base chip. Reinstall mpu and turn on machine with door open. Do not close door. Enter the key chip menu , 7, go to 7.3 progressive menu. When the clear chip was in the spectrum lit "no data". Is this what  "amber led is"? Right now machine says spectrum installed but is not displaying anything.

7.3 Progressive

The progressive submenus can only be configured and/or displayed when the paytable program

supports progressive awards.

7.3.1 Controller Select Displays a list of levels to be configured. For each level, the operator must

select from a list of progressive types (e.g., none, SAS, link, and standalone). SELECTED STANDALONE

NOTE: Before the operator can select SAS as the controller, the SAS group must be

set.

7.3.2 Progressive

Display Setup Options are None or Video Display. To display the progressive screen on the

LCD, select “Video Display” in the display setup submenu and select No  NONE IS DISPLAYED

Bonus in the bonus game selection page of the Key Chip Menu.

7.3.3 Stand Alone

Setup This page determines the limit amount, the current amount, the add    WOULD NOT ENTER

percentage, and the base amount for each progressive level. Set to 0.25% adjust this number to select increment of your choice

7.3.4 SAS

Progressive Group This page sets the SAS progressive group. If set to zero, SAS progressive

capabilities are disabled. The operator can set the SAS group from 1 to 255. No settings required here  THIS WAS SET AT 010

close door and let machine boot.

Do I need to set anything in 7.1 control 1 or 7.2 control 2 ?

In 7.3.1 you need to select the level game.  Select Game 1.

After installing vs 011gx1, sb100069 and sg000363's when I put the 31 key in I get "Display netplex link is down" When I put base back in it acts like it is in #7 mode. When I go to 7.3.1 it shows denom 0.25 level1 none and disabled. I got one screen saying LS013117 .25 98.04% I can't find how to enable it.
